Mini monsters

I have just got the Cricut Mini monsters cartridge and TOTALLY love it!  I bought it for some monster scrapbook layouts but have been having a play making cards so far.  Although predominantly monsters, there are some other wonderful finds such as lollipops and a house.

Here's what I came up with last night;

Have been making alot of little people cards lately for little peoples' birthdays.  I've been playing around with cuts I haven't used before and been having lots of fun.  A bit of embossing and some bling and its all done.

Bee Happy

Here's my submission for the Cooking with Cricut challenge - 'Pick your Poison'.  It's hard to pick a favourite colour and cartridge but I have done alot of yellow layouts recently and 'Walk in my Garden' is pretty cute. 

I cut the sunflowers and bee from that cartridge (and the word phrase from 'Just Cards').  The cardstock used is Core-dinations Black Magic series which I embossed and sanded (see black panel with Cuttlebug "Flwer dots'), sanded flowers and made stripes in the word 'BEE'.  Love that cardstock.  Its hard to see from the photo, but the bee has his wings cut from sheer ribbon.

The second edition of NZ Paper Chase (was Up2Scrap) is out!

The have displayed all the A - Z series in this issue so I feature in it three times for the letters I, X and Z.
