Wedding card

Weddings are pretty special so I always like to spend a bit of time on wedding cards and make that extra effort.

I cut out a heart and then added quilled scrolls, buttons and beads using Dimensional magic. I tied a ribbon in a bow and secured it with a Delish bling brad.  A bit of embossing for the background and voila!

This is a submission for Celebrate the Occasion card challenge - Wedding cards with ribbon.

Cupcake cards

Have been having a play with a friends new Cricut cartridge 'Sweet treats'.  Cute stuff.  So have gone a bit crazy making lots of cupcake cards just because I could!

Cooking with Cricut's challenge this week is about using two shades of pink plus a cake or cupcake.  The first cupcake fits that category.

Happy Mothers Day

 Happy Mothers Day to you all!

I made three cards for Mothers Day, one for my Mum, one for my mother-in-law and one for my Grandma.  I went with one design and modified them slightly.  It might be cheating I guess....Which one do you like best????

Had fun making these cards.  I cut an aluminium can from a soft drink (L&P of course), and cut and embossed it using the Cuttlebug.  The wings were cut from the Pink Journey cartridge and embossed.  The crown bling is Heidi Swapp.

Royal layouts

While 2 billion people watched the royal wedding I scrapped.  OK I did peek a couple of times, but mostly I just scrapped.  And here they are;

Pony love

I used silver Smooch Spritz (like Glimmermist) for the title and photo mat mask.  An oversized paperclip to hold the journalling and cute as pony (from a broken hairclip - thanks Raewyn).  Cheeky flat clips with hearts from Making Memories and good old bling words from Kaisercraft.

Fun in the sun

I did this one using the great range from Crafter Choice (bought from Spotlight) and used the paper pack, rub-ons and tags.  Easy.
