Little mermaid

I used Cricut cartridge 'Once upon a Princess' to make this super cute mermaid for a special birthday girl, Senna (who has stunning red hair).

Laser gun card

I made this laser gun for a 9 year-old boy who was having his party at Laser Strike - Happy Birthday Ashton!

I used Cricut cartridge 'Boys will be Boys' for the cut and lettering.  I also used the good old Dymo labeller and silver sticky tape (which cuts well using the Cricut!).

Oh Baby

The baby cards I make are usually pink or blue, so I decided to use a different colour this time around!

I used Cricut cartridge 'Baby steps' to make this duckling safety pin card.  Its hard to tell from the photo, but I embossed some transparency and attached it with twine for something a bit different.

Check out other baby cards on Fantabulous Cricut Challenge.

Scrapbooking retreat

Have had a wonderful and productive Scrapbooking Retreat weekend!  I held it at my place and there were up to 13 people creating layouts, off-the-page projects and sewing projects.  An awesome bunch of ladies from Cambridge, Morrinsville and Wellington!

We were all pretty impressed by how much we all got finished.  We put up all our layouts on 'The Wall'.  76 pages completed!!!!!  There were also 6 optional challenges (sketch, technical, product etc), which helped the creative juices to flow.

Can't wait for the next one!

70!

Happy 70th to my dear Daddy!

I made Dad two cards.  I used Cricut cartridge 'Art Deco' for the first card and I made a wallet card (Inspired by Pinterest), to hold messages (that look like credit cards) and money.

Little pirate

My daughter was invited to a pirate party (which was absolutely fabulous!).  So of course I made a pirate card (using Cricut cartridge 'Paper Dolls Dress Up').  Here's how it turned out....
