Santa's Little Helpers have been at it again and have been making Chocolate reindeers from marshmallows, pretzels and jaffas. Cute huh?
Pretty tricky for the elves to make since its been so hot and so the chocolate didn't set.

Christmas trees, chocolate style
My Christmas elf and I have been making Christmas brownie trees. Very easy and oh so cute! Pretty tasty too.
1. Cut brownie into triangles.
2. Squiggle green icing on.
3. Add red M&Ms.
4. Break off candy cand and insert into base of tree.
5. Eat!

50th
A birthday card for a friend turning 50.
I rolled up small pieces of square paper into cylinders with a piece of twine in the middle to look like candles. Of course I had to make 50 of them!
I burnt the edge of some paper and placed the candles underneath it.
On the inside of the card it said 'Quick, blow out your candles!'

Gone fishing
I made a fishing vest for a friend of mine keen on fishing. I used Cricut cartridge 'Everyday Paper Dolls' to create the vest. I added pockets and made some fishing type embellishments eg. fly, nylon line and hooks.

Train card for birthday boy
Happy Birthday to Colter! I figured you can't go wrong with a vehicle of some description for a 3 year-old boy.
Here's my tri-fold card using Cricut cartridges "My Community" for the train and "Celebrations" for the sentiment.

New resolve
I had a deep delve into my paper stash and was horrified. Despite the appearance of vast volumes of paper, I actually have very little I like/will use and lots of scraps that aren't enough to make another layout.
So I have made a new resolution.... I will do a layout and then with the scraps , I will make cards from it straight away (if there is not enough to save for another layout).
I'm feeling quite good about this new outlook - to rid my stash of scraps and then I'll have to buy more paper, right???
Here's my first attempt at the scrap stash de-clutter.....

Pony party
A friend asked me to make her some pony invitations for her daughters 5th birthday.
I used Cricut cartridge 'Create a Critter' and modified the horse (I really just chopped its legs off!!!). I mounted it on a stick (like one of those 'ride-a-pony' toys), and added a ribbon bridle.

Wedding card
I found this awesome and wonderfully easy-to-make wedding card on Pinterest. I changed it a little (to make it even easier), from the original and next one I'm going to use buttons on the jacket.
Cute or what?

A rattle that rattles
I made a baby girl card using Cricut cartridge 'Baby Steps'. I thought it was fairly plain and a bit boring despite using the Cuttlebug folders. So I decided to place a shaker box behind the rattle full of beads. So this rattle actually rattles as you move and open the card. Very easy to do!
