Which way?

I wanted to do a layout of our new house and scraplifted a sketch from a magazine.  I used Cricut cartridges Mini Monsters for the lamp post and Jubilee for the house font.  This was how it turned out;

Version 1
When I was taking photo's of it I got the pages around the wrong way, but I think I like it better...  Which way around do you like - Version 1 or 2?

Backyard Camping

There's nothing quite like backyard camping out -  Dad and son outside in the tent outside, Mum inside in her nice comfy bed... especially when your son is sooo excited and insists he and his Dad go to bed before 7pm!  So I had to do a layout to remember the excitement of that.

The paper is Scenic Route and I made little guy ropes using string and brads.  Lettering from 'All Mixed Up' cartridge.  I made square leafy panels to go behind the photos using 'Accent Essentials' cartridge.

This layout is entered into the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge - 'Let's go Camping'

Family tree

This is the family tree I did for my son (aka the monkey). It is entirely done using the Cricut and I have used cartridges Zooballoo, Accent Essentials and Mini Monograms.

I didn't have room to include all the family members I wanted to, but my nephew is represented by the little red bird (next to my sister) and my niece (in-utero) is represented by the egg in the nest next to my sister-in-law! The hardest part was getting all the photos.

This layout is for the Cooking with Cricut 'Anything Goes' Challenge

Moo

Cooking with Cricut has a Cow or Black & White theme challenge this week.

Here is my layout from when we lived on the farm and my nephew came to stay with us one school holidays.

I have used staples as fences, grass patterned paper, sheep (with flocking powder) and cow (with goggly eyes).  I also made a gate from wood grain patterned paper (with correct technical instruction of how to make one from my husband!).  The gate swings open to reveal a hidden photo and the journalling.
